Is the topic of this tour on the actual ghost legends of Orange County? I can’t quite tell from the brief description.

The topic of this tour is actual historic figures involved in the discovery and development of Orange County and California, such as discoverer Gaspar de Portola, mission founder Father Serra, and Santa Ana founder William Spurgeon. The living history actors will interpret these characters as “ghosts” telling their own stories.

You should consider Darius’ version of the tour. I was hoping that was what you were doing. Everyone loves a “real” ghost story

I think they way they are doing it is more entertaining and unique. Redbox and Netflix are full of ghost stories. Local history is more rare and interesting.
Was this earlier advertised as free or cheaper ($5)? I thought Saturday was a VIP night or had a VIP option for more ($15-20) but Friday was cheaper.

Thank you for your vote of confidence on our choice of historic topics rather than supernatural ones. I don’t think we ever officially advertised this at a price lower than the $12, but it took us awhile to settle on pricing, so there may have been rumors afloat. Saturday there is a VIP Harvest Feast for $50 per person that includes an exclusive run of the “Ghosts” tour before the regular tour that night. NOTE THAT THE DEADLINE FOR RESERVATIONS FOR BOTH THE HARVEST FEAST AND THE STANDALONE TOUR IS THURSDAY, OCT. 27 AT 4PM.
