HMOC March Women’s History Month Open House, Tours & Activities!

Join us for a day of events celebrating Women’s History Month at our March HMOC Open House including a rarely offered opportunity to participate in an Orange County Blacksmith Guild Introductory Class led by Blacksmith Caroline Smith, normally sold out months in advance!

This is a very limited offering with only 6 participant spots available, but we encourage spectators to stop and watch the class in between our other Open House activities such as our “Parlor Talk” with Darcy Staniforth on “More Than Just an Accessory: The Myths and Meaning in Victorian Women’s Jewelry”; guided Docent and self led historic 1898 Kellogg House tours; Art at the Farm hands on immersive art workshop and Gospel Swamp Farm gardening lesson.

Self led Kellogg House tours and the Gospel Swamp “Art at the Farm” at 11am-12:15pm and the Gardening Lesson at 12:30pm-2pm is included in your Museum ticket price!

**Entrance to the Museum for non-members: Your $10 (or $5 for children 12 and under) HMOC Open House admission allows you full entrance to the Museum grounds, self led Kellogg House tours during the hours that Docent led tours are not occurring as well as exterior Museum activities during the entirety of the Museum Open House hours of 11am to 3pm!

An additional $5 ticket add-on can be purchased to allow you to join one of the 2 exclusive themed and timed Docent Led Guided Tours at either 11am or 1:30 pm depending on availability!**

**Introductory Blacksmith Class on March 2nd is a separate $60 ticketed event with tickets at givebutter.com/HMOCMarch25BlacksmithClass**

Your admission supports our nonprofit museum and allows you to tour our property including the historic 1898 Queen Anne Victorian Kellogg House with self led or specially ticketed docent guided tours; HMOC exhibits; arts and crafts workshops; scavenger hunts; self led Nature Area trail hikes; Gospel Swamp Farm tours with the Children’s Sensory Garden; special guests and speakers and more.

On select dates participate in our Parlor Stories as well as Gospel Swamp “Art at the Farm” and Blacksmith Shop workshops!
