DESCRIPTION:PORTRAITS OF A LIVING PAST: Exhibition Opening Reception 10/4/26 at 11:15am \nDescription: Featuring a body of original drawings and paintings documenting and discovering historical space and atmosphere \nBiography: \n\nTai Nguyen is a Vietnamese American artist who draws inspiration from nature\, changing environments\, and his experience immigrating to the United States. He graduated from the University of California\, Irvine with a Bachelor of Fine Arts\, where he expanded his practice in drawing\, painting\, and sculpture. His work explores the relationship between humans and the natural world\, addressing themes of climate change\, pollution\, resource extraction\, and extinction.
