DESCRIPTION:🤗🧵Our hearts are “SEW” full! 397 students were able to visit HMOC and take part in our collaborative quilt project through the Artist Grant sponsored by the @cityofsantaana ! HMOC and Santa Ana Unified Schools teamed up on this very special project to work with the elementary school kids on a Friendship Quilt representing their schools and the students! \nThe completed quilt created from the quilt squares that the students from MLK\, Diamond\, Lowell\, Roosevelt-Walker\, and Carl Harvey elementary schools with @santaanausd made will be on exhibit through the summer available to view by Museum visitors during Open House dates on 6/21\, 7/5 & 7/19\, 8/2 & 8/16. 🙌

DESCRIPTION:🤗🧵Our hearts are “SEW” full! 397 students were able to visit HMOC and take part in our collaborative quilt project through the Artist Grant sponsored by the @cityofsantaana ! HMOC and Santa Ana Unified Schools teamed up on this very special project to work with the elementary school kids on a Friendship Quilt representing their schools and the students! \nThe completed quilt created from the quilt squares that the students from MLK\, Diamond\, Lowell\, Roosevelt-Walker\, and Carl Harvey elementary schools with @santaanausd made will be on exhibit through the summer available to view by Museum visitors during Open House dates on 6/21\, 7/5 & 7/19\, 8/2 & 8/16. 🙌

We all know Orange County is amazing\, but did you know we can trace it back to prehistoric eras?! \nTogether with friends from all over Orange County we’ll be demonstrating the variety of histories and cultures that we have right here in SoCal in a FUN family and pet friendly event! \nWe have an amazing list of vendors and exhibitors\, with more being added daily\, that are going to join us for this fun community event and we want to make sure you join us too! \nWith roaming dinosaur characters\, Jurassic Park Jeeps\, fossils\, paleontologists\, archaeology\, crafts\, Blacksmith shop demos\, immersive education stalls\, food/dessert trucks\, gold panning\, tortoise racing and themed photo ops\, as well as the many nonprofit booths that will be around the grounds\, it’s one of our favorite and biggest events of the year and you don’t want to miss it!! \nWe look forward to seeing you at the museum!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of Victorian fun at our HMOC Open Houses of 2026! \nEnjoy fun Open House activities such as guided Docent and self led historic 1898 Kellogg House tours; self led nature walks through our 12 acre Museum grounds; demos from the OC Blacksmith Guild in our Blacksmith Shop and more! \nOur ongoing schedule of fun: \nBlacksmith Demonstrations \nAdobe Self-Guided Tours \nFarm and Nature Self-Guided Tours \n11:00am-1:30pm Kellogg House Self-Guided Tours \n1:30pm-2:30pm Kellogg Guided Tour w/Docent (depending on availability) \n\nTickets can be purchased at the gate the day of. \n—————————————————————————————————————————– \n**Entrance to the Museum for non-members: Your HMOC Open House admission allows you full entrance to the Museum grounds\, self led Kellogg House tours during the hours that Docent led tours are not occurring as well as exterior Museum activities during the entirety of the Museum Open House hours of 11am to 3pm! \nMembers | Free \nChildren ages 3 and under | Free \nChildren ages 4-13 | $5 \nAdults age 55+ | $10 \nAdults | $15 \nMuseums for All | $2 \n\nThrough Museums for All\, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1\,600 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID.
