HMOC Kellogg House Paranormal Investigation

Join us for a night of spooky exploration of our Victorian Kellogg House!

The Kellogg House was built in 1898 as a wedding present from Hiram Clay Kellogg to his second wife Helen, who was said to be rather possessive of her home, refusing to leave right up until she died in the downstairs office…and perhaps even staying afterwards.

While it has been decades since any humans have lived in “Helen’s house,” numerous spirits including Helen herself seem to have taken up permanent residence in the rooms, frequently making themselves known to those willing to listen and search with an open mind; whether you’re a true believer, or a skeptic seeking proof.

Friday, February 27th join us for a nighttime guided paranormal investigation, suitable for both the experienced and the novice ghost explorer with time allotted for both group discussion and private exploration.

Each ticket will include a flashlight to be used during the investigation and then taken home as a souvenir!

Please feel free to bring your own investigation equipment, but no long form filming or open flames will be permitted.

Due to the nature of the night’s program and the graphic historical stories of the Kellogg house and family, small children are not permitted for this investigation, but may tour the home during one of our daytime Open Houses.

Our Paranormal Coordinator:

Darcy Staniforth is an academic, writer, performer, and paranormal investigator. She has been interested in the paranormal since she was very young and that interest has carried into both her personal and professional life. Darcy holds a B.A. M.A. in American Studies and in addition to the paranormal, her research areas include race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, ideals and institutions, and death, dying, and grief in American culture. As an artist and performer, Darcy is a podcaster, comedian, writer, and amateur magician. She currently resides in a haunted house in Southern CA.
